Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning/Facilities Engineer II
Job description
ESCFederal is looking for a HVAC Technician/Facilities Engineer II to work at the Lloyd Center Mall. The Facilities Engineers is responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs to the facility and machinery including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and pneumatic controls.
Essential Functions:
· Operates daily functions on facilities HVAC equipment.
· Coordinate, oversee and ensure outside vendor service is properly completed and meets Lloyd Center Mall standards for repair and maintenance as assigned.
· Performs preventative maintenance on controls and related equipment; adjust and calibrate equipment when necessary.
· Maintain equipment logs.
· Operating the building management system.
· Document work on computerized work orders in such a way as to provide accurate repair and preventive maintenance history.
· Repair and replace interior and exterior electrical equipment.
. Troubleshoot, repair and operates plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, air conditioners, fans, water systems and other mechanical equipment as assigned.
· Works in conjunction with telephone, alarm company repair/installation representatives.
· Respond to and resolve alarm or emergency situations involving utility systems, life safety systems and equipment, ice rink equipment, and general facility equipment.
. Change electric drive motors, belts and sheaves.
. Clean Coils as required.
. Inspect for breaks in duct systems.
. Establish and maintain records of inventory history.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
May be required to work when major HVAC equipment problems occur on off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
· Completion of technical vocational school or relevant experience. EPA certification (Universal) preferred.
· Possess or have the ability to obtain an LME or equivalent Oregon electrical license preferred.
· Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
· Working knowledge to operate, maintain and repair low-pressure boilers, centrifugal chillers and plumbing fixtures.
· Basic carpentry knowledge.
· Ability to climb ladders and work in overhead structures.
· Ability to work beneath machines and in close-quarters performing repair work.
· Able to read and understand written orders and specifications.
· Able to read and work from blueprints.
· Oregon or Washington State driver’s license is required.
Shift: 8:30am-5pm (8Hours Per Day)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour
