About the job

Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As the Head of Industry, you will practice and embody The Google Way of Selling in both internal and customer settings. You will identify and enable longer-term opportunities for critical customers by overseeing and influencing joint business plan development, account-level strategy, annual activation plans, and by developing new customer relationships and new business streams. In this role, you will influence the direction of your team in delivering work including business strategy development, pitching, customer relationship growth, and opportunity sizing. Additionally, you will impact the contributions of others, build cross-organizational collaborations to ensure account planning decisions are aligned with business objectives, and that solutions are presented to customers. You will oversee relationship development with customers, ensuring you develop account executive talent along the way, and engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations.
