Role Purpose:

You will help shape the future of agriculture by:
Provide oversight and direction to crew members in the field regarding operational functions and processes for inspecting unrooted cuttings.
Adjust personnel schedules to meet deadlines
Ensure all aspects of harvesting unrooted cuttings are meeting quality standards and production deadlines.

Accountabilities

• Execution of daily and weekly harvest in your area
• Assist with harvest and quality training
• Communication on crew’s performance compared to expectations
• Accountable for monitoring, scheduling, coaching and encouraging the crews on performance and maintaining workflow in assigned area
• Monitor harvest and crop maintenance progress; revision of schedules as required
• Maintain quality standards as required
• Maintains HSE standards/training
• Responsible for the management and integrity of data collection in your area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability and willingness to working outdoors under various weather conditions
• Ability to walk fields in all weather conditions and on various types of terrain
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Capable of working OT hours during peak season
• Ability to be on your feet for much of the day; frequent standing and walking including climbing stairs and ladders; frequent bending and stooping
• Must be authorized to work for Syngenta in the United States without work authorization sponsorship
• Preferred Requirements
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Computer skills/ Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Access)
