We are seeking individuals to join our Landscape Construction division!

Crew Leader Job Description:

Leads landscape construction crew to complete quality construction and hardscaping tasks safely and efficiently while maintaining associated equipment, paperwork, tools and materials as necessary. This position reports to Branch Manager and Account Manager, and has responsibility for direct supervision of Crew Members.

Crew Leader Sales Responsibilities:

• Assists the sales team and Production Manager in the overall communication with customers to achieve project completion.

Crew Leader Production Responsibilities:

• Directs crew members in their daily tasks while managing safety, quality, and efficiency among the team
• Interpreting and implementing scaled landscape prints and contracts
• Operating and maintaining all equipment (skids, mini-excavators, trucks, trailers, hand tools, etc.)
• Practices, monitors, and enforces safety protocols
• Monitors, inspects, and ensures job completion to Valley Landscaping’s standards within the time frame allotted
• Enforces company policies and procedures while providing positive reinforcement to crews and fulfill supervisor role in a respectful manner
• Uphold and convey a positive image of Valley Landscaping by maintaining a clean, neat, and professional appearance of trucks and trailers
• Engaging in positive interactions with customers
• Maintains neat and organized paperwork for jobs assigned for data entry and billing needs

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience in construction
• Experience in a leadership role
• Stoop/bend/lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for periods of 8 hours or more
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when needed (peak season)

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
