Join the Dog Haus Biergarten - Cheyenne Team! We are actively searching for vibrant, energetic individuals to fill our Service Team positions. This role, placed at the forefront of our restaurant, is pivotal in shaping the first impression for our guests.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

As a Service Team Member, your primary function is to enthusiastically facilitate guest orders and handle payments with a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome every guest with direct eye contact, a genuine smile, a warm greeting, and inform them about our latest limited-time offers.
• Incorporate polite expressions such as "Please" and "Thank You" in every interaction.
• Develop extensive knowledge about the Dog Haus brand, food, and bar menus.
• Accurately process orders into the POS system and handle all financial transactions, including cash, credit cards, Haus Points, and gift cards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in line with the Dog Haus brand standards.
• Assist in training new personnel according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Complete opening and closing checklists, restock all register-specific items and paper goods at the start and end of each shift.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all products, ingredients, allergens, and cooking procedures.
• Upsell whenever possible, suggesting additional toppings, sides, sliders, craft beers, dipping sauces, and desserts.
• Liaise with the kitchen staff regarding allergy concerns and special requests.
• Attend all scheduled team meetings.
• Provide exceptional guest service when problems arise and assist in finding solutions.
• Maintain clear and positive communication with both teammates and managers.

Requirements:

• Dependability and reliability are essential.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification.
• At least 6 months of restaurant Customer Service experience is preferred.
• At least 6 months of restaurant POS experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly demeanor towards all customers, managers, and fellow Team Members.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and occasionally lift slightly heavy items.
• Ability to work in a standing position in a fast-paced environment for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Maintain a positive, cheerful, and outgoing personality, work with urgency, and keep your workstation immaculate.
