Description/Job Summary

Spectra Tech is currently seeking a Graphic Designer I to support the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This position will have front line contact with internal and external customers, requiring active problem solving and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidate will be required to perform the following:

• Complete graphic design projects included but not limited to books, posters, brochures, banner stands, online graphics and presentations as scheduled by team leads.
• Produce work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and client expectations for creativity and accuracy.
• Prepare files for production and communicate with team leaders to ensure accurate job fulfillment.
• Work closely with other design professionals to share best practices.
• Complete weekly project status reports and provide to the Contract Program Manager.

Required Skills

• Strong familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. Experience with other graphic design applications also desirable.
• 1+ year of relevant working experience in a graphic design or website development role.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance is mandatory. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Accordingly, U.S. Citizenship is required.
