Description:

Brewster Home Fashions, a prominent manufacturer and distributor of home decor products is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our creative team!
You will be designing a variety of digital and print media, with a focus on web, and product graphics. The ideal candidate will also work on basic product photography. You should be well organized and be able to communicate ideas clearly to other team members.
A day in the life of a graphic designer at Brewster will include the following.

• Manipulate existing room photographs to show product usage, primarily for wallpaper.
• Photograph products for marketing purposes.
• Create graphics for web: emails, banners, support graphics, for the company’s web sites
• Grow and develop existing branding systems as product lines continue to grow, ensuring all graphic elements are consistent across related files, while maintaining brand identity and integrity
• Proof copy layout and quality check art files and production proofs to ensure error free work
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the competition and trends

Requirements:

• Strong photo editing skills. Some photography a plus or an interest to learn.
• Excellent creative and artistic skills
• Receptive to feedback and constructive critiques
• Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Able to communicate concepts/vision both visually and verbally
• Able to work individually or equally as well in a team environment, with a high sense of urgency to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Full understanding of printing processes and file preparation.
• Experience working with printers and an eye for detail when proofing.
• Genuine interest in home decor
• General knowledge of or experience in the home fashion industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
