Payrate: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Once the golf course opens:

Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30am

Friday and Sunday 7:00am - 11:00am

*Saturday off

Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Staff on the golf course is expected to arrive on time each day and be ready to work. We need to work ahead of the golfers each morning. We start on hole #1 and work to hole #18. If anyone is late, the job they are expected to complete won’t be finished and it throws off the entire day. We can’t tolerate any tardiness.

Some of the jobs include but are not limited to; raking, weedwacking, tree branch clean-up, mowing, and shoveling. The workers will be expected to work in the rain, but not torrential downpours or thunder and lightning. I would place the physicality of the job somewhere in the ballpark of landscaping but not as labor intensive as construction most of the time. I would have workers come prepared with some sort of water bottle to take with them on the golf course and maybe snacks if they want. We don’t have great options on the golf course once they start their day. They will get an hour for lunch. I would have them bring layers of clothing and be prepared to be cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon.

The staff in the golf/grounds department is easy to get along with and will be helpful to anyone you send to us. Dedicated workers have the potential to be hired by Miraval. We have full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions open at the moment.
