Title: GNSS Field Test Engineer
Duration: 6 months to start
Location: San Jose CA - Onsite (5 days/week in office no Exception)

Description:

GNSS SoC location group is looking for a GNSS SW validation Field test engineer to work under the supervision of the Test manager with ability to work with cross-functional teams for supporting various test requests in parallel. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing GNSS software to ensure quality of the software and perform regression & release testing. We are looking for someone with good experience in testing mobile devices and wearables in Field.

Requirements: Responsibilities and duties:

· Capable of driving company vehicle multi times during the week and able to support sports activity tests [walking, running 1-2 times a week with backpack IMU setup].

· Providing test support in supporting commercialization efforts in the Field of GNSS in new HW devices.

· Create test reports after the Field test data is processed.

· Ability to isolate and identify root causes of test debugs independently.

· Create, follow up tasks in issue tracking system.

· Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

· Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and able to receive and document provided instruction for reference.

· Ability to multi-task effectively under considerable pressure of deadlines and easily adapt within a fast-paced environment.

· Solid verbal and written communication skills.

· Follow all the company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and good quality. Qualifications:

· BS in Electrical engineering, Computer Science or related fields

· 2+ years of Field test experience in mobile and wearable device testing and ability to support customers on-site domestically.

· Familiarity with processing IMU using Applanix and Novatel OEM systems and experience with RF captures in the Field using Spirent or Lab sat equipments.

· Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet goals and ensure quality in Test support deliverables.

· Willing to meet on-call support requests, as needed.

· Ability to communicate effectively.
