About the Role
You will be responsible for relationship management of the largest accounts (by revenue) across the Global Legal News Business. You possess detailed knowledge of the needs & behaviors of customers in this market segment and will ultimately retain & grow an existing book of business. You will leverage the various resources across the wider business in support of the respective customers.
Responsibilities
- Find new leads to build a healthy pipeline
- Work with the marketing team and develop solid relationships to generate leads and referrals to other areas of the business
- Provide demos to introduce LexisNexis’s online brand protection solution
- Collaborate with the operational team closely to provide clients with a suitable online brand protection strategy
- Respond to and following up sales inquiries
- Develop strategic sales plan and meet or exceed sales targets
- Review the sales plan and performance monthly
- Renew existing client’s contracts with growth and up-selling opportunities
- Transfer customer’s feedback back to the product development team to align objectives
- Deliver actionable forecasts and customer intelligence
- Articulate the Legal News unique value proposition and its value within LexisNexis’ overall ecosystem and represent the organization at industry events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in relevant field
- Have excellent experience in IP sales
- Be able to respond to customer's issues, requests and inquiries on time
- Demonstrate a proven sales records and ability to achieve sales targets
- Display in-depth IP industry knowledge and be able to develop an understanding of IP products
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team
- Experience and enjoyment working in a fast-paced environment
