Gumpher, Inc. dba Gumpher Electrical Services has an opening for a generator technician with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in servicing and installation of generators. We are seeking someone who is dependable, has a good work ethic, and takes pride in their work.
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
- Have his/her own tools
- Have valid driver's license
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
- Be able to pass a criminal background check and child abuse clearance
- Be detailed oriented
- Have good communication skills
- Be dependable
- Be able to fill out and complete work orders and other various paperwork such as warranty claims relating to jobs
- Be able to follow proper procedures for load bank testing
- Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose air cooled and liquid cooled generators
- Be able to perform yearly maintenance for residential and commercial customers
- Have knowledge of automatic transfer switches and control logic
- Have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate or higher level computer skills
- Cummins and Kohler certification is a plus
- Metal Fabrication is a plus
- CDL is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- We are offering up to $25.00 an hour to start, wages will commensurate with experience.
