Community Overview: Morrow County is located east of the Cascades in north-central Oregon. The beautiful Columbia River is the northern border of Morrow County, with easy access to the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway and the Umatilla National Forest. Morrow County contains more than one million acres of gently rolling plains and broad plateaus.
Position Summary: Under the limited supervision of the General Maintenance Supervisor, the General Maintenance Assistant performs maintenance, repairs and upgrades to all County facilities and grounds throughout the County.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years’ experience in maintenance of facilities or mechanical systems.
- License: Valid Oregon Driver’s License
- Certifications: Asbestos Awareness Training
- Security: Must maintain CJIS Security Clearance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
