Job description

Atlas Construction is looking for quick, efficient Laborers who are eager to learn, function well in a team environment, and are interested in progressing and/or beginning their careers in the Construction Industry.

Our General Laborers are expected to assist in the completion of various tasks assigned to them by their crew leader or foreman. These tasks may include but are not limited to raking and/or shoveling concrete & gravel, setting forms for sidewalk & wheelchair ramps, and setting line for a slip form curb machine. We do not require any prior construction experience, but it is preferred.

Further job requirements are as follows:

• Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM or later
• Must be able to learn and retain information from day to day
• Must be able to work well in a team environment
• Must either have a valid Ohio driver's license, or a reliable form of transportation to and from work every day
• Must be willing to complete a background check
• Must be on time daily with reliable attendance
• Must be physically able to lift up to 80 lbs regularly and perform stooping, kneeling, and digging
• Must have proper clothing for working in all types of weather conditions. Hard Hats may be required (company provided)
• May be required to use various forms of machinery including Concrete saws and drills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
