At Marshall Grain Company we’re a small company that believes we best serve our customers by having team members who are passionate about the things we sell. We are a full-line garden center that emphasizes native and adapted Texas plants and organic gardening supplies to support homeowners who want to use organic gardening methods. Part of our mission is to help customers succeed with organic gardening by acting as a resource and offering classes and advice.The Garden Manager must be a motivated, experienced manager who can take full charge of all garden center operations within our store. This position also includes heavy on-floor interaction with customers. You will lead a team of associates and be responsible for recruiting and mentoring these associates. You will have overall responsibility for selecting and buying plants and associated merchandise. You will be a key member of the company senior management team working to expand sales and profitability and will report to the company owner.
You must have experience as a manager or assistant manager of a garden center or closely related business. You must be able to communicate effectively in English and present yourself in a professional manner. You must be able to work weekends – both Saturdays and Sundays. This position is at our store in Grapevine, TX. Local candidates only please – we cannot pay for relocation.
