Lawnscape Garden Center in Angola, IN is seeking to hire a motivated, knowledgeable, people-pleasing nursery manager. We operate a hands-on, quality focused, client driven operation. Prospective employee should have years of experience in the green industry and have prior experience with perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs, landscape materials, as well as various plants and flowers. Job duties and responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:

· Management of employees and maintenance of property

· Maintain a high level of attention to detail

· Maintain quality initiatives within time management constraints

· Offer suggestions for improvements/enhancements for growth of business

· Manage inventory and control of supplies, materials, and products

· Assist customers is selecting plants and other materials

· Assist in preparation, cleaning, and organizing the greenhouse as well as other areas of the property

· Support ownership in any special projects

· Organize storage and care of property and equipment

· Assist in various shop duties and office functions

· Ensure safety among employees

· Display a positive attitude

Qualifications shall include:

· 4 years experience in a Garden Center or other horticulture related field

· Ability to work long hours during busy months

· Ability to work outdoors daily in all weather conditions

· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

· Knowledge of methods, tools, materials, and practices used in gardening and landscaping

· Valid Driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

• Rotating weekends
