ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a full-time furnace operator to perform duties to efficiently and effectively assist in the operation and set-up of furnaces.
Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to several elements continuously present including heat, dirt, grease, oils, fluids and noise.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Process quality parts to process specifications.
- Inspect parts visually for foreign material and/or defects.
- Load and unload parts as required.
- Perform necessary recordkeeping and paperwork.
- Adhere to work instructions and process cards as required per job.
- Maintain a zero-defect mentality and be quality conscious.
- Participate in team problem solving as part of the departmental continuous improvement process, including the EDIS program.
- Support and participate in the departmental structure of self-directed work teams.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Previous manufacturing experience helpful
- Manual dexterity, visual acuity, mental alertness.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
