POSITION IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
This position leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of Wadhams Enterprise’s API and web offerings for all its divisions. These solutions serve both internal and external stakeholders and are the backbone for our customers’ ongoing relationships with our company.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
Skills:
- Knowledge of B2B integrations, preferably in the logistics and transportation industries.
- Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP-based API technologies.
- Full-stack development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, as well as frameworks and source control tools such as NodeJS, Express, and Git.
- Familiarity with a frontend web framework such as React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with web server platforms such as nginx.
- Experience with implementing CI/CD processes.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including query writing, the creation of stored procedures, and best practices for database design.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems or logistics-focused ERPs is preferred.
- The ability to organize and manage development projects using project management tools is essential.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, C#, and the .NET Framework would be beneficial.
- Must be well organized and display a positive image that reflects well on the organization.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
License: Must maintain a valid driver’s license, as occasional travel may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk for a majority of an eight-hour day.
- Ability and strength to operate a computer keyboard, copy machine, printer, fax machines, and telephone.
- Ability to climb one flight of stairs.
Responsibilities
- Implement streamlined CI/CD processes for all the company’s various software solutions.
- Design, document, and implement APIs for use by both internal and external stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and maintain customer-facing and internal web portals that leverage these APIs.
- Monitor integration trends and resolve errors as they arise.
- Maintain detailed knowledge on the data utilized by the organization, so that opportunities for automation or analytics can be identified.
- Stay abreast of advances in technology.
- Resolve issues where possible, escalate when required.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation.
- All office personnel must be reliable, must report for duty on time, must be neat and presentable, and must be available for overtime when required.
- All office personnel must maintain a good working relationship with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.
- All personnel must keep management informed.
- Learn and adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures.
