Brief Overview:

We are looking for a full-time Medication Quality Control Technician to help with monitoring and overseeing the care of our vaccine and monoclonal antibody (mAb) storage at our home office in Tumwater, WA. There will be set shifts, but candidates will need to be flexible with when they can work and have weekend availability. The Medication Quality Control Technician will also be on-call, at least, 4 days out of the week, scheduled ahead of time. This is to cover emergency needs (i.e. power outage), meet medical staff early morning or late at night, and respond to calls throughout the day and night. Understand that every day will be different, and duties and routines may change according to the needs of the job. For being on-call you will receive $50 a day as an incentive. This position will require a high level of attention to detail. Candidates must live within 20 minutes of Tumwater, WA.

There is now new funding and resources available to provide life-saving treatments to the at-risk communities around us, but we need your help to do so.

A medical background is not required but is a plus.

Anticipated Schedule:

• Flexible/Rotating
• Weekend availability is a must

Pay Range:

• $23 - $25 hourly
  
• $50/day for on-call

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and track medication (vaccines and monoclonal antibodies) storage temperature

• Manage accurate inventory count of medications and supplies (ex. saline, syringes, gloves, masks, etc.)

• Keep track of medication expiration dates

• Prep vaccines for pop-up vaccination clinics
• Prep medications for mAb clinics

• Occasionally work at pop-up clinics as vaccine manager prepping and drawing vaccines
• Deliver vaccines/supplies to clinics - in event of an emergency

• Rational on-call for emergencies (power outages)

• Meet Vaccinators in the mornings and evenings for vaccine pick-up/drop-off

• Basic data entry

• Receive medication deliveries

• May be asked to help with other tasks in the office

• High level of attention to detail

Candidates must have an Associate's degree or higher. Bachelor's preferred.
