Job description
We are looking for a upbeat, outgoing, and friendly individual to join our front office team. Previous guest service experience required, hotel experience preferred but not needed. A flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is needed with no exceptions.
The Front Desk serves as the primary contact for all guests throughout their stay and acts as a coordinator for all other departments, while also making reservations, checking guests in and out of the hotel, balancing accounts, processing reports and completing other assigned tasks/duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within the brand and company's standards
- Accurately execute/maintain reservations, arrivals, and departures
- Responsible for cash balancing and credit card processing
- Operate PBX phone and coordinate calls as required/needed
- Learn emergency procedures of hotel and how to handle each situation
- Protect guest's privacy including room number and personal information
- Know makeup of hotel and surrounding area including local attractions
- Complete daily reports and procedures as required by management
- Keep work area and back office clean and organized
- Set requests for wake up calls for guests as needed
- Resolve guest complaints/concerns quickly and efficiently
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Cross train and assist in all other departments as needed
- Ensure security of building and safety of guests
- Assist other departments as needed
- Other duties and items assigned by manager
- Fill Staffing requirements and be responsible to work the desk when other members cannot.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $42,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
