SUPERVISOR: Lead Receptionist, Spa Supervisor
JOB TYPE: Part Time
SALARY: $15/ hour + 10% retail sales commission

SUMMARY
The Spa at Flying Horse is seeking a friendly, professional and positive Spa Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years spa/hospitality experience, is a self-starter with strong organizational and leadership skills. Candidate must be able to multitask with efficiency in a fast passed environment with an energetic enthusiasm in all operations. *This is not a summer job only.
DUTIES
Essential duties are as follows but are not limited to:
-Includes Weekends, opening and closing shifts
· Daily operations of the Spa department front desk duties, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking guests in and out.
· Make sure the retail area is clean and organized.
· Changing merchandise displays seasonally
· Working with service provider schedules to ensure appropriate coverage is available for guest booking.
· Assist manager and supervisor with additional daily tasks.
· Spa inventory duties i.e. retail/service product inventories, check-in deliveries, and quality checks.
· Restocking and cleaning spa lockers.
RELATIONSHIPS
1) Reports to department lead, supervisor or spa manager for the fulfillment of functions and responsibilities.
2) Will have contact with Membership Director and Membership Coordinator, Spa Director, Spa Supervisor, Athletic Club Services Manager, and other industry related people and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing and operational success of the company.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or GED
· Two years of experience in Spa/Hospitality position required
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS
Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Must have competency in interacting with clients, Club members, service providers and any other fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy.
· Retail/sale experience
· Knowledge/understanding of spa services and product lines
· Must be able to work weekends
· Experience with Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; POS systems; Internet software; scheduling software systems
· Works well under pressure with ability to problem solve in difficult situations
