We are looking for a front desk specialist to be the initial face of the practice – answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurances, and taking orders for contact lenses – all with patience, a warm demeanor, excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills, and energized by multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

We are a busy, independent optometrist office with two locations - one in the heart of downtown Carrboro (just minutes from Chapel Hill), and the other just 12 minutes away in Chapel Hill. Our patients are vibrant and diverse, coming from unique social and economic demographics, so no two workdays are ever alike.

This position requires exceptional customer service skills, the ability to think on your feet, and the desire to share decision-making with multiple people. The ideal candidate brings positive energy to the office, has a growth mindset, and demonstrates compassion for our patients. College degree required, Spanish language skills are a plus! Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
