  • Work effectively with the Training Department to contribute on all assignments
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations

Purpose: This position will be responsible for assisting with onboarding and training of new and established Front Office Coordinators.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Extensive knowledge of Front Office processes, policies & procedures, Chart Prep, ICD-10 codes, Medical Insurance, and up-front collections.
  • Conducts departmental orientation and completes checklist for new employees.
  • Assist Practice Managers with 30, 60, and 90-day performance review and success of training results.
  • Proficiency with training the staff on Nextgen PM, Phreesia and EMA.
  • Receives and evaluates feedback to identify training opportunities and ongoing improvements to departmental programs.
  • Upfront Collections to include Deductibles/Coinsurances/ Copay’s and Past Due Balances.
  • End of day Balancing
  • Orientation class for our new Front Office Coordinators.
  • Travel is required

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma


Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in Dermatology. Front Office, Call Center experience helpful. Minimum of 1 year in Leadership or training roles.


Requirement: Must have at least 2 years of Nextgen experience.

  • Cover Front Office when needed.


Equipment Operated:
Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.


Work Environment: Able to sit for long periods. Fast paced environment


Physical Requirements: Must possess the manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
