Fairfield Inn and Suites is looking for a full time individual. (32-38 hours)

This position includes most weekends including Fridays a 3pm-11pm shift.

Front desk is the first point of contact and provide the first and last impression on the guest. The front desk builds relationships with our guest by engaging with each one and looking for opportunities to offer unexpected gestures that will surprise and delight our guests.

Requirements:

Standing for 8 hours

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving and de-escalation skills

Ability to learn and adapt quickly on the job without a lot of oversight

Problem Solving and logical reasoning skills

• Multitasking

Daily duties may include:

Offering a warm and friendly welcome to every guest entering public space

Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner

Check guest in and out using the hotels reservation system

Prepare for arrivals each day

Strive to maximize reservation bookings and revenue

Seek opportunities to take extra steps of care or offer an unexpected act of kindness toward a guest or co-worker at all times while at work.

Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions

Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.

Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager on duty.

Perform secondary duties including folding laundry, cleaning, and assisting other departments as needed.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
