Howard Fertilizer & Chemical Company is looking for an experienced Front Counter Associate.

Location: Princeton, FL

M-F 6am – 4pm

Pay Rate: Hourly Wage $17.00/HR

Job Description: Front Counter Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: As a Front Counter Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our company.You will welcome and greet who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including answering and redirecting phone calls and order entry. To be successful as a front desk associate, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a welcoming attitude.
• Answer incoming calls with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Efficiently and accurately give estimates to customers.
• Explain products and services to customers with confidence and knowledge.
• Enter orders for outside sales team.
• Operate and maintain office equipment, computer, copier, postage machine.
• Maintain/stock the kitchen/break room and storage closets.
• Participate in cycle counts
• Participate in special and year-end inventories
• At times, may participate in other warehouse operations such as picking/packing orders and unloading trucks
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent E
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, FrontDesk Representative or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machine printer and postage machine)
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer service attitude
