UTC is a leading provider of specialty chemicals for organosilicon products, in addition to manufactoring of solid phase extratraction sorbent, chromatographic media and sample preparation products.
UTC is looking for a part-time contract Graphic designer to work with our sales and marketing team to create visual text and imagery concepts,using computer software to communicate ideas that generate interest in UCT products. The graphic designer will also assist in developing layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, catalogs and website. Work hand in hand with social media team to generate press releases and eblasts, update and enhance the company website, generate SEO and paid ad campaigns via Google and Linked In, create marketing collateral in line with company’s core branding for annual media plan, pitch promotional ideas and campaigns and facilitate any internal marketing requests.
- Assist in editing/proofreading sales and marketing materials, which include articles, presentations, white papers, application notes, technical posters, and collateral.
- Assist in the update of the website, specifically with monthly featured products, blog postings, coupon codes, social media outlets and most importantly SEO.
- Assist in designing journal articles, advertisements, applications and technical posters
- Assist in designing e-blasts/mass mailings for all product lines.
- Assist in designing product specific landing pages to enhance efforts of paid marketing campaigns and maximize effectiveness.
- Work with the Marketing, Product Managers, Sales, and technical staff to assist with new product launches with a focus on marketing collateral generation and product packaging where applicable.
- Assist with development of video promotional material highlighting products and solutions that can be utilized on website and social platforms.
- Assist in writing and design internal company newsletters in addition to customer collaboration publications.· Proven graphic designing experience.
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
- Ability to work individually and complete self-driven projects in addition to interfacing with multiple departments.
- Well-built skills in organization, prioritization, time management and communication.
- Excellent communication skills.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field required.
Experience: 2+ years of experience within the field of marketing. Chromatography experience a plus. Experience with Adobe platform, Google, Word Press, Email marketing design and development experience preferred.
