Position Type:

• FULL TIME! Permanent position (not a temporary gig)
• Monday-Friday 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
• Load and unload trucks with forklift and check in merchandise
• Prepare orders: Processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Receive and open bales, crates and other containers
• Unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Count physical inventory
• Prepare parcels for mailing
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
• Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Required to communicate, exchange information
• Requires the use of hands to move objects and merchandise
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move objects 30-40lbs.
• Requires the use of hands to handle objects and merchandise
• Requires the ability to stock shelves by climbing ladders or stairs; able to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift/move inventory
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
• peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Exposed to warehouse conditions, cold/heat and noise

Other Functions/Responsibilities:

• Other duties as assigned
• Must have reliable transportation

Required Experience:

• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Forklift Certification preferred
• Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
• Dependable, Reliable and Punctual
• Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills preferred
• Able to interface with all levels of staff and management
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
