Northwest Management, Inc. (NMI), is a rapidly growing natural resource consulting firm based in Moscow, Idaho (website). We are a team of hard-working individuals with a variety of natural resource experience. We aim to inspire forestry, and all that relates, in everything that we do (video). Our team is seeking motivated individuals with diverse education and/or experience to serve the growing needs of our clients. This position will require self-motivated individuals who enjoy all disciplines of forestry (video) and who have a vision for the future. Applicants must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in small team settings. This position will require travel and applicants should anticipate work away from their duty station for approximately 10% of the year.

Areas of Specialty considered for this position including, but not limited to:

• Family Forest Management

• Management Planning

• Silviculture/Reforestation

• Timber Harvest Layout/Road Engineering

• Forest Economics

• NEPA

• Rangeland/Forestry/Fire

Primary Duties Include:

• Timber sale layout, reforestation planning and inspection

• Management plan development, wildland and prescribed fire

• Natural resource inventories

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,500.00 - $62,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Moscow, ID 83843: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• management planning: 1 year (Preferred)
• Natural Recourse Inventory: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
