The Forecasting Analyst will assist in the demand planning for store and warehouse replenishment through our Just Enough software and managing analytical reports, among other responsibilities. Detailed responsibilities include:

Serves as departmental primary point person for inbox inquiries.

Communicates with teams as needed to adjust forecasts for abnormal sales or change in market conditions.

Uses JE software; working in conjunction with iSeries applications to investigate, analyze, report, test, and troubleshoot.

Follows and maintains company schedule to run reports and adjust product data/authorization on time.

Inputs all criteria from programming/features/incentive/and seasonal planning into software to ensure accuracy of forecasting and replenishment.

Reviews forecasts to determine and provide correct product levels and adjusts replenishment strategy as needed.

Generates and analyzes sales and product data based on individual requests from management.

Weekends on-call rotation with team supporting the stores order schedule.
Qualifications

Education/Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Math Ability: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Advanced experience with Excel using data connections and PowerPivot as well as the rest of the MS Suite products such as Word, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint. Just Enough or other forecasting software experience preferred. Familiar using iSeries interface and applications.
