Overview:
Training: This position requires those selected to successfully maintain high performance standards during their specified training period in a Food Service Specialist capacity. This will coincide with participation in a variety of learning activities and training disciplines designed to prepare for achieving Food Service Manager “ready” status. Only those with a ready status will be considered for an interview for a Food Service Manager position opening. If "ready" status is not achieved within the specified time frame, the standard rate of pay will apply to the Food Service Specialist position.

- Prepare and serve high quality, made to order food and beverage items in a timely manner
- Prepare and stock “grab and go” food and beverage products including warmer snacks, bakery items, and refrigerated products
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels of products and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of food service and coffee areas
- Attend QuickChek University training classes and district food service meetings
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
- Execute merchandising and production in food service and service beverage departments
- Work with Store Manager in achieving sales and profitability goals within department
- Oversee and delegate tasks to the food service team
- Train and develop food service associates and specialists
- 3+ years of prior food service experience preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Willingness to travel to other stores within assigned district and corporate office
- Ability to work with and lead a team
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Basic analytical skills
- Timely arrival & excellent attendance record
- Reliable transportation
