Server

Job Description: We are currently looking to hire experienced servers to join our team! Servers must have open/flexible availability, reliable transportation, a hard work ethic, positive attitude, must be able to thrive in a fast paced Family Entertainment Center, and must be a team player. This position plays a big role in creating and providing the best guest experience and satisfaction in all areas of the our facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that each guest receives exceptional service during their dining experience.
• Uses the POS (point of sale) system effectively and correctly.
• Follows all steps of service throughout the dining experience.
• Suggests specific food and beverage items through use of salesmanship.
• Practices all COVID-19 procedures and policies at all times.
• Must wear a mask for the duration of each shift.
• Completes proper opening and closing duties as per unit.
• Handles all cash, credit, and gift cards received during the shift and properly accounts for all monies at the end of each shift.
• Maintains proper etiquette with all staff members and guests.
• Exhibits teamwork at all times.
• Maintains proper uniform and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Must be ServSafe certified for Food Handling, or must acquire within 2 weeks of hire.
• Nights and weekends required

Skill/Experience:

• 1-2 years server experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a loud, fast paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Will work near moving machinery and / or mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, standing and moving between tight spaces.
• Will walk for extended periods of time, possibly for extended distances.

Job Type: Part-time

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Guest Service: 1 year (Preferred)
