rto Santa Monica, a renowned Italian dining destination, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Server with exceptional knowledge of Italian wines, cocktails, and a proven ability to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be humble yet confident, and have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of our menu, including food, wine, and cocktail offerings
• Guide guests through their dining experience with personalized wine and cocktail recommendations that enhance their enjoyment of our Italian cuisine
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Work collaboratively with the entire restaurant team to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas, adhering to all sanitation and safety guidelines
• Accurately process orders and payments, following proper cash handling procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on industry trends and expand product knowledge

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Server in a fine dining setting, preferably with a focus on Italian cuisine
• Extensive knowledge of Italian wines and familiarity with classic and modern cocktails
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong work ethic, humble attitude, and confidence in providing outstanding service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Alcohol Server Certification or equivalent
