Overview:
We are looking for a Fleet Funding Specialist, with the possibility of you joining the team as a Level I, II, or Sr.

The Fleet Funding Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing fleet quotes and funding approved fleet schedules. The Fleet Funding Specialist will be responsible for reviewing all gathered information to ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and Line of Credit requirements. The Fleet Funding Specialist is responsible for all outlined functions within the funding process upon receipt of the fleet funding package until funding completion and/or return. This position requires flexibility in quickly adapting to changing assignments and managing multiple tasks simultaneously, while working with others in a positive and constructive manner. This team member has frequent contact with dealership personnel, commercial borrowers, and GMF Fleet Sales and Credit teams.

This position will be located in Irving, Texas and following a hybrid work model. Hybrid: A combination of both in-office and work from home. Days in office will vary based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
JOB DUTIES
  • Interface with dealership personnel to promptly review and process fleet quotes and fund approved fleet schedules
  • Ensure fleet quote, schedule decisions and documentation is complete and aligns with Line of Credit guidelines, State and Federal laws, and company policies & procedures
  • Market Fleet Servicing products and programs to support internal and external sales efforts
  • Look for opportunities for process improvements and enhancements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of funding and credit underwriting processes along with the applicable documentation involved
  • Knowledge of commercial loan/lease policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of commercial lending, dealership operations, fleet/commercial and indirect captive auto finance industry operations
  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics
  • Knowledge of GM Financials core business functions, policies and procedures
Skills
  • Able to meet deadlines, be self-motivated and work independently
  • Ability to make sound business decisions based on policies and procedures
  • Attention to detail, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Communication, project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
  • 3-5 years of related commercial funding, underwriting and automotive commercial vehicle lending environment experience preferred
