Part-Time Fitness Trainer

At Therapeutic Oasis, we are passionate about working as a collaborative team to help clients achieve their life worth living. We are a DBT and mindfulness-based counseling center specializing in treating complex cases across the lifespan such as trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, depressive disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and more.
We are looking for a certified fitness trainer to work with our private clients in a safe and trauma-sensitive environment. Qualified candidates should have 3 or more years experience and be able to offer individual sessions and group classes that meet the following objectives:
- Incorporate practices that promote inclusivity for all populations.
- Ability to teach from a place of trauma & ED (Eating Disorder) awareness and sensitivity.
- Understand the limitations and boundaries of the role of the teacher.
- Connect to resources that can support those who have additional needs beyond what is addressable during training. Be able to identify when a student may need additional mental health professional support
Education & Experience:
- Must be a certified fitness trainer with at least 3 years' experience
