Our client is a Steel and Aluminum Manufacturing in the Louisville, KY area, seeking Mechanically Inclined Machine Operators to join their team.

As a Steel Machine Operator, you will:

Safely operate machines such as cutoff saws, computerized saw, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, and spinning machines, that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures. Machine Operators will need to safely lift 50lbs, and will need to be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

What it Takes:

• A High School Diploma/GED
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to Read and Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints ( a test will be given)
• Ability to Read a Tape Measure in fractions and decimals (a test will be given)
• Strong Math Skills
• Basic knowledge of Computer Systems, Hardware, and Software
• Knowledge of and/or Experience with Metal Fabrication

Monday - Thursday 6am start (early start times depending on the amount of work needed to be done) to 4:30pm (Possible OT work on Friday as well)

Pay is $18-$20 an hour - Based on Experience
