8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under limited supervision, serves as an instructor for public safety training in advanced or specialized topics
- Participates in needs assessment, research, design, and evaluation of statewide public safety training programs
- Demonstrates teamwork and a high degree of customer service
- The idea Firearm Instructor will be highly proficient at maintaining excellent relationships with students and classroom hosts, Including management team
- Accountable for coaching firearms training classes to the company standards
- Provide an elite training experience and exercising the importance of risk management
- Stays up to date on software applications utilized for training
- Maintains state and NRA certifications keeps these certifications up to date while employed
- Responsible for overseeing weapon safety protocol and prevention
Qualifications:
- Technical proficiency with MS Excel, scheduling tools, etc.
- Self-starter
- Must be NRA/USCCA certified
- Attention to detail
- Customer service abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Familiar with BOLC Training
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Firearm Training or military: 2-3 years
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- MS Concealed Carry Permit
- Eligible for POST Certification where applicable
- NRA/USCCA Certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
