Responsibilities and Duties

As a Fire Inspector, some of your specific duties in this role will include but are not limited to:

• Assist Lead Inspector with Inspecting systems per NFPA standards while maintaining high standards of quality
• Ability to assist lead inspector to troubleshoot, and overcome issues that arise during inspections
• Creating accurate and detailed paperwork relating to the work performed
• Keeping up with local and national codes
• Achieving company inspection performance goals
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers and coworkers
• Keeping abreast of any technological developments impacting the industry by continued education.

Qualifications and Skills

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate in a Windows environment
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
• Ability to obtain state licensing and pass background check
• Ability to lift 50lbs several times daily, navigate ladders and scaffolding, and work in confined space
• Previous experience in low voltage or construction a plus but not required.
