Position Details:

• 35-40 hours a week with flexible hours. Must be available 2-3 evenings Tuesday-Saturday, until 6:30 pm.
• Closed major holidays.
• Benefits available for eligible employees (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K program)
• No previous jewelry experience necessary, only a willingness to learn and an eagerness to succeed.
• Education reimbursement with Diamond Counsel of America and Gemological Institute of America.
• Jewelry and monetary spiffs for designer sales.
• Hourly base wage of $14.00 - $16.00, plus a competitive sales commission program that allows you to earn whatever you would like. Sales Associates can earn an average of $40,000 in total compensation within the first year of employment when successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals .

• Are willing to develop sales techniques and train in fine jewelry product knowledge.
• Operate point of sale systems, and necessary clienteling records using multiple types of software.
• Work with jewelry designers on merchandising and fulfilling customer wishes.
• Perform jewelry and watch inspections, estimates and cleanings.
• Set up, take down, lift and move merchandise and merchandise displays.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep the showroom in immaculate condition.
• Perform security opening and closing procedures as outlined in Policy and Procedure guidelines.
• Maintain safety and security of the location by following organizational protocol.
• Attending staff meetings and sales training as required.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to perform these essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Sales or customer service or related volunteer experience.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to pass a drug test and submit to a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
