GENERAL FUNCTION
The Sr Manager – Finance Systems will be accountable for organizing, directing and managing a broad set of activities to enable the finance organization to successfully deliver, monitor and continuously improve services performed on behalf of EyeMed’s clients. This includes several key statistics for our commercial pricing team, including new and renewal business. This role will define, implement, and execute processes to provide on-going oversight of the key performance metrics and trends within and across pricing. It will be responsible for system wide testing, including C4C as we venture and improve our process in our new systems.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain an end-to-end operational management framework to monitor performance (KPIs, SLAs, etc.), trends and proactively detect areas of potential future risk to performance outcomes across commercial pricing.
- Establish and maintain a financial performance management framework to monitor financial performance, trends and proactively detect areas of potential financial risk
- Coordinate the forecasting, planning, approval and acquisition of contractor staff across the pricing team
- Primary owner of EyeMed’s pricing engine, EyeRate. Responsible for maintenance delivery and project management for both enhancements and RTB fixes to the system
- Responsible for creating and maintaining strategic plan for the system as well as cataloging and managing integration touchpoints and areas for opportunity and risk.
- Collaborates with commercial and strategic pricing teams to adequately identify risks and opportunities to their current financial forecasts / plans, ensuring governance throughout the quoting process.
- Collaborates with Underwriting and Finance departments in cross-functional data analysis and BI projects.
- Support EyeMed Finance in ad hoc financial analyses and project work as necessary
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business and/or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years business experience
- Experience planning and managing initiatives with process and technology workstreams
- Experience analyzing data to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Experience developing executive level presentations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA
- Experience with large management consulting firms
