What you will be doing
The Shared Services team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst who supports the goals and objectives of the Finance and Shared Services organization by enabling transformative change and operational excellence through data and technology. The Analyst will be responsible for assisting with documenting requirements, application testing, process improvement, automation, and increasing our operational performance through innovation, training, and technology. The Analyst will also play a key role in the optimization, support, testing, and training of enterprise applications.
The Shared Services team includes the Corporate Imaging Center and Payment Services Center, based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Main responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to document processes and requirements in support of our operational objectives.
- Validate, test and audit business applications for performance, data integrity, and accuracy.
- Test all department applications and workflows to look for optimization opportunities that streamline processes, increase productivity, and support our transformation goals.
- Develop Test Plans based on business requirements and ongoing application maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and provide support to end users on enterprise applications and operational workflows.
- Develop and deliver application training to business users.
- Partner with management on projects, end user support, system maintenance, and application upgrades.
- Assist with evaluating and testing of revisions or upgrades to system applications, workflows, and new projects
- Assist with evaluating current processes and recommend solutions or improvements where possible.
- Assist with Development and Production testing and debugging once deployed
- Keep meticulous documentation of applications
- Document support activities and assist with providing end user training on all improvements
What we are searching for
- BS/BA, preferably in Information Technology or Business or equivalent experience, education, or training
- 2 or more years IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training
- Highly organized and flexible self-starter, with an eye for detail who can maintain multiple ongoing assignments simultaneously
- Strong people skills with the ability to work in collaborative team environment
- Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Highly proficient with writing SQL queries
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and IBM FileNet Content Manager
