Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, work closely with senior leadership as well as partner across the business to lead and further develop the planning, reporting and analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support specific Operating Expense cost center owners (IT & Finance) with insightful analysis on actual results as well as forecast, identifying cost saving ideas while selling ideas to business partners, concentrating on what’s in it for them, and gaining insights through questions
  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching and oversight for the planning, reporting, analytics, accounting, and decision support for all Operating Expenses; Making the story crystal clear and simple
  • Be a key member of our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, as the financial liaison of the Portfolio Management Review step where you will provide overall governance & alignment on financial process across all portfolios
  • Compile internal and external competitive benchmarking data and analyses to provide insights and recommendations on productivity beyond manufacturing
  • Lead various Finance processes including monthly results meetings as well as annual P&L restatements
  • Prepare accurate management reporting and presentations for Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Coach rotational members as their FP&A assignment leader
  • Support mergers and acquisitions activities including development of valuation models, managing financial due diligence process, and leading the integration of financial processes and reporting
  • Support the growth of our business by preparing business and financial models to assess specific opportunities and special projects
  • Drive data analytics to discover useful information which can help the organization make informed decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and communications at all levels of the organization


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA, CMA, Advanced Degree or MBA preferred


Experience:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related Accounting or Finance experience in roles of increasing responsibilities required
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP, BPC or other planning / forecasting / reporting / consolidation systems preferred
  • Mergers and acquisitions and/or joint venture experience preferred
  • Innovation and portfolio management experience a plus


Skills:

  • Ability to filter data, removing the noise and focusing on the most important issues and trends
  • Strong computer skills required (Planning system, ERP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead major projects and change management efforts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • The ability to instill trust and confidence with business partners and other finance team members through strong presentations and written communications
    • The ability to take complex data / information and drive it to simple, meaningful insights
  • Track record of delivering excellent results
  • Ability to create the new and different, especially when working with incomplete or disparate data and information
  • Demonstrated, consistent professional growth; Director/CFO potential and desire
