We're looking for a Financial Controller to join the team. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the Company.

We're looking for a Financial Controller to join the team. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the Company.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent and accurate financial accounting and reporting
- Play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system to support the growth of the business
- Assist with the creation and tracking of company and department budgets
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk
- Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
- Manage outsourced accountants in subsidiary offices; assist with hiring and development of a US accounting and finance team
- Recommend actions and benchmarks that will be used to measure the Company's performance
- Ensure compliance with tax and other statutory reporting
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
Qualifications:
- CPA Certification strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required
- 7+ years' relevant work experience in accounting with increasing responsibility
- Complete understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient ERP experience (5+ Years)
- Proficient Excel Experience
- Experience with tax and other statutory compliance
- Experience with international operations and consolidations
- Melbourne/Orlando, Florida candidate preferred but will consider remote for highly qualified candidates.
