Finance Manager

Beaverbrook STEP, Inc., a private, non-profit, W/NPO certified organization, seeks a Finance Manager for an immediate opening in its Watertown office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment that puts a premium on teamwork. This position presents a qualified candidate with the unique opportunity to join an established team within our Finance Division. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the non-profit sector, have practical knowledge of all aspects of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS)/EOHHS financial protocols, and have a proven supervisory background.

In collaboration with the CFO and the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will provide leadership within the multi-member finance department. The Manager will be responsible for the entire range of accounting functions including AP and AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and other tasks assigned by the CFO. The Manager will follow established policies and procedures on fiscal and accounting matters, banking, disbursement of funds, and payroll. The Finance Manager will be expected to evaluate the ongoing needs of the department and provide detailed feedback to their supervisors in a timely fashion. This position reports to the CFO and the Director of Finance and directly supervises a team of two financial assistants.

Beaverbrook STEP is a human service agency with 400 staff and an annual revenue of 24 million dollars. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
