Job Description: Office e-File Clerk

Location: 545 Washington Blvd Jersey City NJ

Job type: Contract (on site)

Key responsibilities of a File Clerk reporting to the HR Operations Senior Advisor:

  • Document, scanning, verifying, and uploading documents into databases, storing and retrieving all work files from the file cabinets, offsite storage, and from various Verisk locations
  • Review of files before scanning to include, but not limited to, researching missing documentation, review and updating of electronic tracking for applicable documents
  • Ensure that all scanning and indexing of documents is completed efficiently and accurately
  • Turning paper documents into a PDF using scanning equipment for retrieval or archiving
  • Give utmost attention to quality control to ensure proper document filing
  • Ability to multitask; support high volume transaction, organize; pay attention to detail, work well with others and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, and demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness as a self-starter

Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2+ years of related experience in e-file clerking preferred
  • General knowledge of relevant HR systems, applications, or tools
  • General MS Office knowledge
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
