Do you want to work in Field Technical Service? Do you enjoy service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions?

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for providing frontline support by resolving customers' problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Serve as lead to assigned customers - complete troubleshooting, installations, validations, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated product lines.
  • Identify business opportunities (PM’s, new Service Plan leads, new system leads) that help us continue to deliver double-digit growth.
  • Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building and fostering positive and professional relationships with both external and internal customers.
  • Promote a consistently positive image of the service organization, our values, and the value of our products and services.
  • Keep up to date on daily administrative responsibilities such as completing work orders, returning parts, following up with customers, etc.

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Associates degree with 3+ years of experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Biology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license and meeting Molecular Device’s safe driver standards.
  • Overnight travel - up to 50% at times.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Scientific research instruments, scientific background, or a similar technical profession.
  • Microsoft Office suite of applications. The ability to quickly learn and master additional software applications desired.
  • Hands-on field instrumentation.
