Essential Job Functions, Responsibilities and Duties

FBO

  • Promote both flyADVANCED commitment to exemplary service and quality by the successful execution of the duties assigned.

  • Regularly interact with customers to promote the FBO and to measure the level of customer satisfaction. Use customer feedback to constantly develop and improve capabilities and processes.

  • Correspond with customers regarding various issues such as tenant relations and transient sales.

  • Manage front desk and line crew operations including staffing requirements, training, and scheduling.

  • Ensure safety compliance by completing recurrent training for Line and Front Desk Staff.

  • Work interdepartmentally with the flight school on daily flight operations.

  • Ensure safe and efficient operations on the ramp area.

  • Oversee maintenance invoicing, organizing hangar/tie-down contracts, track base tenant numbers and other airport planning support

  • Manage transient sales, contract fuel payment options, communication and ensure proper payment set up in Atlas.

  • Audit Atlas invoices and ensure default payment methods are set up in Atlas.

  • Ensure proper PPE and Line Service equipment are available so staff can safely and properly operate.

  • Ensure field compliance by liaising between WFPA and flyADVANCED and report back to COO.

  • Yield and assist with customer and neighborhood questions and resolve issues as necessary.

Field Maintenance

  • Oversee field maintenance, testing and inspection schedules that are required to ensure that the facility is operating safely and efficiently, to maximize the life of equipment and reduce the risk of failure.

  • Upkeep of buildings and the grounds around buildings such as interior and exterior lighting, sidewalks, parking lots and the overall appearance of buildings and public areas.

  • Facilitate and track maintenance of tugs, mowers, snow removal equipment and other field equipment.

  • Organize and staff winter operations and snow removal.

  • Fuel Farm management and compliance, manage fuel truck maintenance, inspections and deliveries.

  • Manage DEP and FAA compliance, navigational equipment, SPCC plans, stormwater collection and reporting.

  • Ensure all fire safety equipment is up to date.

Qualifications/Competencies

  • Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer software knowledge required.

  • Must be tactful, courteous, and conscience of client needs.

  • Basic mathematical knowledge.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Aviation experience is strongly preferred but not required.

  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, along with outstanding verbal and written communication.

  • Customer Service/Sales experience in a professional environment required.

  • Can work shifts that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
