WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE SEASONAL, PART-TIME EMPLOYEES FOR THE FARMERS MARKET SEASON! (APRIL/MAY - SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER)

XLVII’s Bakery (47 in Roman Numerals) is the #1 pretzel bakery in Colorado. We specialize in authentic, artisan Bavarian pretzels and sourdough breads. We sell a variety of flavors of these products at farmers markets, as well as an assortment of authentic French pastries. Our ideal candidate for the job is honest, trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking, as well as energetic, fun, and customer service driven. (We have an exceptional reputation at the farmers markets, and it is very important that we are always taking the best care of our customers in order to maintain that.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a salesperson, you will need to have a strong knowledge of our products (and their ingredients) in order to successfully sell to customers. You will also be in charge of setting up for markets, collecting payments, tracking inventory, and maintaining our excellent reputation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Customer service skills!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to sustain a positive attitude
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand/be on your feet for an extended period of time
• Available on weekends
• Valid Driver’s License
• Comfortability driving RAM PROMASTER (preferred)

Farmers Market Sales Team Leaders would be expected at the bakery (located in Thornton, CO) at 5am, and would return by 3pm. Sales Team Members would be expected to arrive at their assigned market an hour before start time, and would be done after the equipment is broken down and packed into the bakery vehicle. We are currently searching for people to work both Saturday and Sunday markets, with the opportunity to potentially work other events (such as Oktoberfest) as well. We are looking for FULL SEASON COMMITMENT!

Longmont Farmers Market: April 1 - November 18

Louisville Farmers Market: May 13 - October 14

Southlands Farmers Market: May 13 - September 30

Greeley Farmers Market:

Pay starts at $16/hour plus tips (usually ranges from $100-$400)
