Job description
We are looking for a facilities attendant to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of the Community. A facilities attendant is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the building and its common areas in the best possible condition.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for a variety of cleaning/facilities duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.
- Clean Locker rooms & Restrooms. Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor.
- Pressure clean sidewalks and outdoor furniture.
· General upkeep of the pool area, including setup and cleaning pool furniture.
· Maintaining pool deck with leaf blower.
- Complete weekend work orders as scheduled.
- Inspect all assigned areas and reports all cleaning and facilities discrepancies to Supervisor.
- Ability to properly utilize equipment, chemicals and follow safety procedures while performing work duties.
- Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance to OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
- Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
- Ensures that security procedures are always adhered to.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager.
Operating Skills, Knowledge & abilities:
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Education/Training:
· High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:
· Previous custodial experience preferred.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
Special Requirements:
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
· Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
· Crawl in small and tight spaces; Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g.: heat, cold, wind, rain);
· Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.
· Reach with hands and arms.
· Ability to navigate quickly and easily the property/building as required to meet the job functions.
· Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and finger.
· Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner.
· Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3 ft).

- Monday to Friday
