WonderWorks Orlando is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! Maintenance Technicians concentrate on the safety of our guests and employees through maintaining exhibits and other aspects of the building. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for training team members, upkeep of building and exhibits, and monitoring the safety of equipment.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues found in all areas of facilities and exhibits
  • Conduct building walkthroughs, identify and correct safety as well as security issues
  • Complete weekly preventative maintenance checklist
  • Assist with modifications to the facility, as well as installing new exhibits and graphics
  • Train new and existing team members on all major exhibits
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience in hydraulics, electrical, computers, and facilities maintenance
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Exceptional guest service, communications, and strategic thinking skills
  • Be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, plus holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, use hands and/or fingers, and lift as well as move up to 100 pounds amid a moderate to loud work environment
  • Ability to work on tasks at varying heights

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Computer hardware/software repair: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hydraulics: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Electrical wiring: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
