Hours: 6a-2:30p M-F

A minimum of 3 or more years experience in marking and cutting fabric for fine custom furniture pieces (fabric and vinyl)

Essential Functions:

• Ability to read production tickets and any special instructions
• Utilize tools such as scissors, electric cutting knife, hand-held knife, chalk, ruler
• Cut fabric from roll according to specifications
• Must lay out pattern pieces properly and cut fabric exactly so that all points match
• Must use fabric efficiently to minimize as little waste as possible
• Ability to work at a productive pace with no errors
• Work closely with Cutting Group Leader and fabric inventory control
• Understanding of fabric layout-COM, Center cut, flow match, plain cover
• Ability to adjust patterns as needed for custom pieces that may differ from standard

Position Requirements:

• Must be knowledgeable in upholstery methods and be able to complete quality specifications.
• This position requires manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail to meet high quality standards.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily.
• Requires lifting 0-25 lbs continuously, 25-50 lbs occasionally
• Perform related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
