Nates Tree Service is an established and successful full-service tree service company that is growing. Our location in Tuolumne County has an opportunity for an experienced Office Support position.
The ideal candidate is a team player, with excellent organization and communication skills. This role sets the tone for the customer experience with a professional, friendly and caring attitude, and acts as the hub for the organization, while communicating clearly with the customer, office staff, leadership, and the crews.

Office Support job description:
- Manage correspondence (email, mail, and packages) and incoming phone calls, in a prompt, pleasant, and professional manner
- Responsible for assisting in the scheduling, estimating and supporting paperwork correspondence required for all work orders
- Defining, fielding and extracting critical information to accurately route correspondence, telephone calls or customers to the correct individuals
- Responsible for preparing daily, weekly, and monthly business reports, including the creation of work orders, and hour compilations
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Create employee files at the time of hire, and ensure new, existing or updated records and databases contain accurate personnel, financial and other data as needed
- Act as the communication coordinator between the customer, office and field teams when needed to facilitate a full understanding of scheduled work
- Responsible for weekly owner reports, communicating with key vendors, and facilitating special projects as needed
- Support and process DMV changes of fleet vehicles, registrations, insurance and maintenance records
Additional Qualifications required:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, custom reporting preferred
- Proficient in Excel & Outlook
- Experience with Google Calendar
- Prior experience working in an office and in an efficient manner
- A clean/valid Driver’s License
- Excellent communication and on-the-job skills
- Presents a professional appearance and attitude
- Adaptable and approachable
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and organized manner
Benefits:
- 35-40 hour workweek
- Pay depending on experience
- Available immediately
